The walk is mainly along the beach at low tide, at the foot of the dramatic cliffs.
A longer circular walk starts from Porth Beach, via Zacry’s Islands to Watergate Bay and returns on the cliff tops along the South West Coast Path.
Note: the walk should only be attempted 2 hours either side of low tide. Always check the Newquay tide tables first, and preferably set out on an outgoing tide.

- Flory Island
- Warm pools to bathe in

Here, walk NE along the base of the cliffs for 600 metres or so to reach Zacty’s Islands. Return the same way.
