The ruins of Augustinian St Olave’s Priory in the village of St. Olaves, founded circa 1216 and named after the patron saint of Norway, is a great place to look around with its wonderfully complete 14th century brick-vaulted refectory undercroft. Just a short distance from Haddiscoe Island and the historic Bell Inn it is accessible all year around. With easy parking in the adjacent and excellent Priory Farm Restaurant this can either be a 20 minute stop over if you are passing through or a lovely post-lunch wander. Further details here
