There are only two places in Cornwall that are sufficiently free of light pollution to make great stargazing spots. Carnewas, above Bedruthen Steps, has Dark Sky Discovery status and is a truly spectacular location to see the Milky Way.
The Kernow Astronomers often run free star gazing events at Bedruthan Steps with telescopes enabling visitors to see the stars and planets up close. Check out their event page, meet in the National Trust carpark, wrap up warm and enjoy a night of utter wonder.
