Reedham is a popular tourist spot on the lower reaches of the River Yare with a beautiful river frontage, rare railway swing bridge and a chain ferry. Take a picnic and sit on the banks of the river, watch the chain ferry with a pint in The Ferry Inn or go to a brewery tour (with fish and chips) at the Humpty Dumpty Real Ale brewery. For the more active there is a wonderful 16 km stretch of the Wherryman’s Way between Reedham rail station and Berney Arms along the bank of the River Yare.
